The Lightning Press
The Lightning Press is a publishing company that specializes in creating tactical field guides for military personnel. This was a very complex and rewarding project that I worked on in collaboration with my good friend Chris Greenwood. It incorporates a custom shopping cart system that works in tandem with Adobe Content Server to distribute digital eBooks using a DRM system.
The client had a very clear idea of how he wanted everything to look, how content should be presented, and how it all should work. My job was to turn his ideas into reality by integrating his design concept with the eBook DRM system and custom shopping cart system.
