Are We A Good Match?

Choosing someone to build your website is not a decision to be taken lightly. You should hire someone you trust, connect with, and who can clearly demonstrate that they know what they’re doing through references and results. Your business depends on it!

While I wish it wasn’t the case, my time is limited and I have to turn down more projects than I am able to take on. That requires that I be somewhat selective about who I work with too. My clients are typically results oriented people who are willing to forget what they’ve previously been taught or think is correct, and can trust in me to do what is in their best interest.

My Objectives

My primary objective is to give you a great looking site that is as both people friendly and search optimized. I accomplish this using the tools and technology I believe to be the best available for the job. My business is built around getting results on behalf of my clients. I succeed when my clients succeed.

My Process

If you’re interested in working with me to build your site, I suggest that you first work with a graphic designer that you really connect with to develop an overall branding/style aesthetic (and logo if needed.) If you have a particular idea for your site’s layout, you can have them mock that up for you too. Once you’re happy with your branding, I’ll work with you to fine tune the design so that it is search optimized and people friendly. Once we have a design we know will get results for you, I’ll build your site using only best tools available for the job while incorporating some SEO tricks I’ve learned over the years. This process ensures that you get the best possible outcome: A unique look and feel that you love built on an efficient, search optimized site framework.

My Approach and Philosophy

My approach to building sites leans heavily toward satisfying three very distinct entities, each with their own needs: You, your visitors, and the search engines. I try to build sites that offer each what they’re looking for:

1. You want a beautiful site that can showcase your work, communicate your brand objectives, and connect you with potential clients within your target audience. This is why I suggest you first work with a designer you trust first. It pays dividends to get a look and feel you like not only because you’ll be proud of your site, but because it helps you connect with potential clients that share your same style.

2. Your visitors want to see examples of your work, then be given easy access to related information about you and your business that will help them decide if you’re the person that may want to work with. They want all of this fast, too. Never make your potential clients wait or they won’t be potential clients. I strive to give them something that will capture their attention as soon as they visit your site, then make finding the related information they want easy. This formula ensures that your visitors will be a lot more likely to stick around, which means they’ll be more likely to inquire, which means they’ll be far more likely to book!

3. Search engines want text. Every bit of information about your site matters for search. How you set up and organize your menus. Where certain text is on your page. The bits of text no one ever actually sees that is hidden in the page source code. Your post/page urls (permalinks). Your image alt text. The wording of your blog headlines and post content. All of these little bits of text work together to boost your site’s ranking power. The trick (and art) is presenting all of this text to search bots in just the right ways so that it maximizes your potential rankings while playing nicely with the other two objectives listed above. This is the real meat and potatoes of sustainable, results oriented on-site SEO in the real world. Doing this correctly helps support the other two objectives above by bringing those new visitors to your front door! When I build the site for you, I ensure that all the text that is both visible and invisible to the visitor is optimized, and I work with you to make sure your post content is equally optimized. This is the best, most complete approach and ensures better rankings.

A Note On SEO Consulting

I currently limit my SEO consulting to my web development clients.   The reason for this is simple: When I build a site for a client, I’m able to ensure quality and search optimization every step of the way.

Current Pricing

Website commissions currently start at $3,000 and can vary upward from there depending on your specific desires and needs. Once a quote is written and approved, a 50% deposit is required upfront before your project’s scheduled start date.
